The award was voted
on by the fans on the Inside Track website, and was handed out during
the annual Canadian Motorsports Expo in Toronto this past weekend.
Inside Track Reader’s Choice Awards were also presented to
other Canadian racing stars in other motorsports categories.
Other winners included 2 time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series
Champion Scott Steckley as will IZOD Indy Car Rookie of the year James
Hinchcliffe. “I am very proud to
win this award and be on stage with some of the best racers in Canada
last season”, says Ladouceur after accepting the award.
“I really have to thank all of my family, friends and fans that
voted for me each day throughout the duration of the contest”. With a season that
produced 11 feature wins, 20 top five finishes, 22 top ten finishes in
just 23 starts, Ladouceur also won the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock
championship, the Cornwall Speedway track championship, the Bailey Motor
Company Pro Stock Champion and the Mohawk Race Parts Pro Stock title. “We had a
phenomenal season, and it was nice to reflect one more time on our
accomplishments”, says Ladouceur.
“We are excited about getting the 2012 season underway now, and
hope we can have an even better season”. Joey Ladouceur would

Joey got the season started off
on the good note, winning on opening night at Cornwall Speedway.
In the first month of the season, Joey had three wins at
Cornwall, including a Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series win and also posted a
win at Mohawk Raceway. Through
the month of June, Ladouceur set the pace early, building up a
substantial lead in the track point standings. As the summer heated up,
Ladouceur continued his Pro Stock domination with three more wins at
Cornwall in the month of July. He
was also leading the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock standings at Mohawk
Raceway, and was at the top of the standings in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro
Stock championship battle. In August, Ladouceur had to
battle through terrible weather, and didn’t even get on the track at
all in Cornwall during the stretch drive of the championship.
Ladouceur claimed the 2011 Cornwall Speedway track championship
by 66 points. Ladouceur did
win three times in August, posting wins at Mohawk Raceway, Autodrome
Granby and Autodrome Drummond and stretched his lead in the Mohawk
Racing Pro Stock Series standings.
A second place finish later in the month at Mohawk also secured
the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock championship. When the calendar turned to
September, the team’s attention shifted to the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock
series. Ladouceur had a
substantial lead, and extended that with a win at Autodrome Drummond on
September 9th. The
following week, Ladouceur broke while leading at Granby, and was the
first DNF of the season at the most inopportune time.
The following night, Ladouceur scored a top five finish at Mohawk
to remain in contention for the title.
The month ended at Cornwall Speedway with the final Mohawk Racing
Parts Pro Stock Series race, and Ladouceur just had to start in order to
clinch the title. Ladouceur
ended the race with a fifth place finish. Just two events remained on the
schedule going into October. First
it was Super DIRT Week, and then the season finale at Brockville.
Ladouceur entered the month trailing the points leader by 41
points in the battle for Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock.
A fourth place finish at the New York State Fairgrounds, combined
with some bad luck for the series leader gave Joey the points lead going
into the final race. When
Ladouceur arrived at Brockville to finish out the season, so did the
rain, and shortly after the decision was made to cancel the last race,
and Ladouceur was deemed Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock for the second time in
his career. While the 2011 racing season is
now over, Ladouceur will look ahead to the annual DIRTcar awards banquet
on Saturday, November 19th at the Turning Stone Casino in
Vernon, New York. Ladouceur,
and his team will be officially recognized for the 2011 accomplishments,
including the Mr. DIRTcar championship, and Cornwall Speedway
championship. Joey Ladouceur would like to
thank all of the sponsors that have come on board for the 2011-racing
season. Coffrage 20-20/Pompage

Despite a forecast that called
for rain on Friday evening, Ladouceur and his team made the trip to
Brockville Ontario Speedway from their Alexandria, Ontario home.
Not long after arriving though, the rain came, and quickly
intensified, forcing track officials to cancel the final race of the
season for the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series, and giving Ladouceur the
championship. “It certainly wasn’t the
ideal way for us to win it, as we always want to decide the outcome on
the track”, says Ladouceur. “However,
we had a great year, and our team has worked hard to achieve this title,
and we are excited to win this championship again”. Ladouceur, who last won the
championship back in 2004, is quick to credit the hard work of his crew,
and the support of him family and friends throughout the season, and his
racing career. “I couldn’t do this today
without the dedication of the crew, and the support of my wife Josée”,
says Ladouceur. “We spend
so much time during the season in the race shop, and at the track, and
it feels great to have this championship once again”. While the 2011 racing season is
now over, Ladouceur will look ahead to the annual DIRTcar awards banquet
on Saturday, November 19th at the Turning Stone Casino in
Vernon, New York. Ladouceur,
and his team will be officially recognized for the 2011 accomplishments,
including the Mr. DIRTcar championship, and Cornwall Speedway
championship. Joey Ladouceur would like to

Ladouceur was fast right from
the beginning, setting the second fastest speed in opening practice.
On Saturday, Ladouceur laid down another fast lap, and captured
the Terrell’s Potato Chips Pole Award. “I really
didn’t think that lap would have been fast enough for the pole”,
claims Ladouceur. “We did
that first lap and I thought I kind of gave up a little too much, so
when I came around for the second one I went harder. It’s a good thing
the first lap was good enough to get the pole because I threw it away on
the second one. I tried to stay lower trying to find something on the
bottom and it just didn’t stick”. For
Ladouceur, this was his third Pole Award in the 10 years of attending
this event at Syracuse. He
won the fast time award back in 2003 and again in 2009.
This year, Ladouceur was hoping to bring home his first career
Syracuse win. “This is my tenth time here
for this race and I’ve never won the darn thing,” said Ladouceur,
who has a best career finish in this race of third back in 2003 and
2004. “We have been fast, but we’ve blown tires and had all kinds of
bad luck at this place. In the 25 lap main event,
Ladouceur held the lead until a lap six restart. Despite several attempts to get the lead back, he rode in
second place, and then fall to third on a lap 17 restart. At the checkered flag, he finished in fourth place.
Ladouceur entered the race 41 points out of the lead in the chase
for the Pro Stock Mr. DIRTcar championship, but with problems during the
race for the current point leader, Ladouceur was able to regain the top
spot heading into the final race of the season. That final race will take place
this coming Friday night at the Brockville Ontario Speedway.
Ladouceur will carry a 28 point lead into the race, and hopes to
claim his first Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock championship since 2004. “We have been really close to
getting that second title over the past few years, but things just
didn’t work out”, says Ladouceur.
“Hopefully this year we can close the deal”. Joey Ladouceur would like to
thank all of the sponsors that have come on board for the 2011-racing
season. Coffrage 20-20/Pompage
20-20, Fence Depot, Minimax Express, Glengarry Truck Centre, Au Vieux
Duluth, Stinger X Chassis and Finish Line Web Design are all an integral
part of the Ladouceur team and they look forward to sharing their
success with all of you. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ladouceur Claims Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series Championship With Fifth Place Finish at Cornwall; Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Chase Heats Up Craig Revelle - Finish Line Web Design - September 29, 2011
Sunday’s race, which was
originally scheduled for Labor Day Weekend began with qualifying heats,
and Ladouceur started the race from third place and advance to second in
the eight lap event. In the
50 lap main event, Ladouceur started fourth and battled in the top five
early, but had to come into the pits for a flat tire.
He returned to the field and fought his way back into the top
five and claimed the 2011 Mohawk Racing Parts Championship. “We have had a great season,
and I have to thank all of our sponsors, the crew, my wife Josée and
all the fans that come out to the track each week”, says Ladouceur.
“I would also like to thank Gilbert Lazore for sponsoring this
great series and hopefully we can come back and win it again next
year”. Ladouceur’s attention now
shifts to the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series with events coming up at the
New York State Fairgrounds on October 9th, and the season
finale at Brockville on October 14th. “We have some work to do in
the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series to get back to the top of the points
there”, says Ladouceur. “We
broke while leading at Granby, and finished fifth at Mohawk Raceway, so
we are behind a little in points. Hopefully
we can make that up in the final two races”. Ladouceur is currently second in
the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock series point standings and trails fellow
competitor Corey Wheeler by 41 points with two events remaining this
season. Joey Ladouceur would like to
thank all of the sponsors that have come on board for the 2011-racing
season. Coffrage 20-20/Pompage
20-20, Fence Depot, Minimax Express, Glengarry Truck Centre, Au Vieux

The Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock tour resumed this past
weekend with a pair of events. First
up was the rescheduled race at Autodrome Granby on Friday night, and
then back to Mohawk International Raceway on Saturday night. At Granby, the night started out well for
Ladouceur turning the second fastest time in time trials.
Ladouceur made the redraw for starting position in the main
event, where he started from inside of the fifth row in ninth.
It was clear right from the drop of the green flag that Ladouceur
had the fastest car on the track, and by lap 18 he took the lead and had
built up a sizeable advantage on the field.
While running in the lead, the rough track conditions on the
night caused a mechanical failure for Ladouceur, and he was unable to
finish the race. “The rough track conditions caused one of the
idler arm bolts to break, which made the centerlink knock the fitting
off the fuel pump, and that was the end of our night”, says Ladouceur.
“Hopefully we can have a good finish tomorrow night and get
back on track in the final few races of the year”. On Saturday night, the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock
Series traveled to Mohawk International Raceway. In the 50 lap main event, Ladouceur battled back from and
early race pit stop to get back up to fifth place at the checkered flag.
After the weekend events, Ladouceur now sits
second in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock point standings, just 39 points out
of the lead. The next race
on the Series will be at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse on
Sunday, October 9th before ending the season at Brockville
Speedway on Friday, October 14th. This coming weekend, Ladouceur will finish up the
season at Cornwall for their rescheduled Mohawk Racing Parts Series
finale on Sunday afternoon. Ladouceur
has won all four events of the series so far, and will clinch the
championship at the drop of the green flag to start the 50 lap feature. Ladouceur and the team also have
t-shirts for sale. Stop by
the team hauler at the track and pick up yours today. T-shirt prices are just $20, and are available in size small
to 2XL. Shirts are

Ladouceur started the 50 lap
main event from ninth place, and steadily worked his way forward.
By lap ten he was up to sixth.
As the race progressed, Ladouceur kept moving up through the
field, making the top five at lap 13.
He continued to move forward, reaching second place by lap 19.
By this time the race leader had built up a commanding lead, but
Ladouceur continued to battle, and was catching the leader rapidly with
every passing lap. As the
race approached halfway, and caution-free, Ladouceur was right on the
back bumper. He made the pass on lap 27, just before the first caution of
the night. On the ensuing
restart, Ladouceur continued to lead and went on to win his second Mr.
DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event of the season. “I really like (Autodrome) Drummond, its just
too bad they built Montreal between here and Alexandria,” joked
Ladouceur in the winner’s circle enjoying his second win in as many
tries at Drummond. “This is probably the best car I have drove in my
career.” This coming weekend Ladouceur will continue with
the Mr. DIRTcar Series with a pair of events. First up is the rescheduled race at Autodrome Granby on
Friday night, before traveling back to Mohawk International Raceway on
Saturday to complete the busy weekend.
The following weekend is the rescheduled Mohawk Racing Parts
Series race at Cornwall Speedway on September 25th.
After two weeks off to prepare for Super DIRT Week, Ladouceur
will be at the New York State Fairgrounds on Sunday, October 9th
and will then finish out the 2011 season with the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock
finale at Brockville Speedway on Friday, October 14th. Ladouceur and the team also have
t-shirts for sale. Stop by
the team hauler at the track and pick up yours today. T-shirt prices are just $20, and are available in size small

Ladouceur entered
Thursday night’s races at Mohawk looking to gain some valuable
experience at the Hogansburg, New York track.
Ladouceur is always fast at MIR, but he was looking to try
something new and maybe hit on something that would put him at the front
of the pack when the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series comes back on
September 17th. Ladouceur struggled in the heat race, starting sixth and
finishing in the same position. In
the main event, Ladouceur rolled off the starting grid from tenth place,
and by the checkered flag he had worked his way up to seventh. “We are not to
concerned about tonight”, says Ladouceur.
“We are just trying something new here tonight to see if we can
hit on something. We know
we have a great set up here and typically run well, so tonight we are
just experimenting”. Cornwall Speedway has
had a very tough month of August with rain, and that carried over into
September. A forecast that
had predicted a 100% chance of rain all day long appeared to have been
wrong, and it looked like the season finale at Cornwall was going to get
underway. Just as
qualifying heats had began, the rain came, forcing Cornwall Speedway
officials to postpone the rest of the racing action.
The Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series 50 lap main event will
now take place on Sunday, September 25th at 2pm. Ladouceur will be at
Autodrome Drummond this coming Friday night for the next round of the
Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series. From
there the Series will return to Quebec the following Friday night,
September 16th at Autodrome Granby for their rescheduled Mr.
DIRTcar event, and then the next night they will be at Mohawk
International Raceway on Saturday, September 17th.
The Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series will now conclude at
Cornwall Speedway on September 25th.
They will then enjoy a couple weeks off to prepare for the
biggest event of the season at the New York State Fairgrounds in
Syracuse, New York on Sunday, October 9th.
The season will come to and end on Sunday, October 16th
at Brockville Speedway. Ladouceur and the team
also have t-shirts for sale. Stop

With his fourth consecutive and
sixth Cornwall track title now conquered, the attention now shifts to
the Mohawk Racing Parts Series. After
winning all four events so far in the series, Ladouceur has a commanding
lead going into this Sunday’s 50 lap main event at Cornwall.
Ladouceur is looking to become the first driver since the series
began in 1998 to sweep all of the events in a season.
With the imminent championship, Ladouceur will have won his third
consecutive Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock series crown, and eighth of
his career. Once the season ends this
weekend at Cornwall, the attention will shift full time to the Mr.
DIRTcar Pro Stock championship, with races on September 9th
at Autodrome Drummond, September 17th at Mohawk Raceway,
October 9th at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse,
and Brockville Speedway on October 17th for the season
finale. “It has been an unbelievable
season for us so far”, says Ladouceur.
“We really want that DIRTcar Pro Stock championship though.
We have won a lot of races and the Cornwall Championship and all
of the other championships, but it would really top off our year to take
home the Mr. DIRTcar crown”. Ladouceur will also race at
Mohawk International Raceway on Thursday night as they kick off the
Labor Day Weekend celebrations. Ladouceur
will be looking to find the perfect set up for the upcoming Mr. DIRTcar
Pro Stock event. Ladouceur and the team also have
t-shirts for sale. Stop by

Ladouceur still has
some unfinished business this year though, with two more events at
Cornwall, including the final race in the Mohawk Racing Parts Series on
September 4th. To
make his season compete, Ladouceur is eyeing the overall Mr. DIRTcar
Series title. Ladouceur won
the championship in 2004, but since then has not been able to take the
division’s top prize, despite several unsuccessful attempts that have
come down to the final race of the season. “We have had a
great season so far, but we really want that 2011 Mr. DIRTcar title”,
says Ladouceur. “We
have been in contention for it the past couple years and it slipped away
from us on the final race, so hopefully we can finish out the year
strong, and top it off with a Mr. DIRTcar championship”. Ladouceur will be
back at Cornwall Speedway on Sunday.
A strong finish at Cornwall will clinch the 2011 Cornwall
Speedway championship for Ladouceur.
The following week at Cornwall is the final round of the Mohawk
Racing Parts Pro Stock Series, and Ladouceur currently holds a
commanding 79 point leading going into the final night.
Once the season
ends at Cornwall, the attention will shift full time to the Mr. DIRTcar
Pro Stock championship, with races on September 9th at
Autodrome Drummond, September 17th at Mohawk Raceway, October
9th at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, and
Brockville Speedway on October 17th for the season finale. Ladouceur and the

First up was Autodrome
Granby on Friday night. Ladouceur
set the pace early with the fastest speed in practice, and was the
second fastest in time trials, placing him on the pole for his
qualifying heat. Ladouceur
cruised to the win in his qualifier, and had to redraw for his starting
spot in the 50 lap main event. Ladouceur
drew the 10th starting position, and fired from outside of
the fifth row for the feature. At
the first caution on lap nine, he was up to sixth and continued to move
through the field. By lap
12 he was in the top five and was gaining on the leaders.
At halfway, Joey had advanced to second and a few laps later he
had the lead, and cruised on for the win, his third consecutive series
victory. At Autodrome Drummond,
Ladouceur again set fast time in warm-ups, and backed that up with fast
time in qualifying, giving him the front row for his qualifying heat.
Ladouceur cruised to the win in the eight lap preliminary event,
making the redraw for one of the top 12 starting spots in the 50 lap Pro
Stock main event. Ladouceur
drew position number six this time, and by lap ten he was up to third.
Ladouceur took over second on lap 17 and immediately began to
challenge the leader. For the second half of the race, Ladouceur raced side by side
for the win with local driver Francois Adam.
Ladouceur took home the win.
The next stop on their
swing through Quebec was at Le RPM Speedway in St. Marcel, Quebec.
Mother Nature did not co-operate and track officials were forced
to cancel the night’s events. The final race of the Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series
will take place on Sunday, September 4th at Cornwall Motor
Speedway. This coming weekend,
Ladouceur will be back at Mohawk International Raceway for the final
round of the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock Series, and then to Cornwall
Motor Speedway on Sunday night. Ladouceur
has a 66 point lead with just three more races remaining. The next race in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock series will be

Mohawk International
Raceway hosted a 50 lap Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock Series race on
Friday night, and Joey Ladouceur was hoping to repeat his performance
from the series opener back in June when he took home the checkered
flag. Ladouceur started
sixth in his qualifying heat, and advanced to fourth place at the
checkered flag. In the 50
lap main event, Ladouceur started just from the third position, but
dropped back a little a the start of the race.
He patiently worked his way forward after that, and by lap ten,
he was back up to third, and began to plan his move on the leaders.
A caution was displayed on lap 13, and on the ensuing restart,
Ladouceur was able to take over the second spot, and soon began to
challenge for the lead. Just
before the race reached the halfway point, Ladouceur grabbed the top
spot, and held it for the remainder of the event, surviving a late race
restart with just nine laps remaining. “It always feels
great to win one of these big events”, says Ladouceur in victory lane.
“We don’t run here all that often, but I do enjoy coming here
to MIR. I have to thank the
crew for all of their hard work, the fans for coming out here tonight,
and of course, my wife Josée for her support”. This coming weekend,
Ladouceur will be on the road in Quebec as the Mohawk Racing Parts Pro
Stock Series makes a three race swing through the belle-province.
Friday night they will be at Autodrome Granby, Saturday night the
series visits Autodrome Drummond, and Sunday night they will be at Le

On Sunday night,
Ladouceur set the tone early, by posting the fastest speed of all Pro
Stocks on hand in the warm up session.
He backed that up with a win in his qualifying heat race.
In the 20 lap feature, he started from deep in the field, and
charged towards the front of the pack.
At the checkered flag, Ladouceur finished in third place, and
ended the night with a comfortable 66 point lead in the battle for the
Cornwall Speedway Pro Stock championship. “We needed a few more
laps this time”, says Ladouceur after the 20 lap Pro Stock feature was
completed. “We had a good
car, but we unable to make it to the front”. This coming weekend
Joey will race at Mohawk International Raceway in Hogansburg, New York
on Friday night for the next round of the Mohawk Racing Parts Pro Stock
Series and will also be at Cornwall Speedway on Sunday night.

First up was the second
round of the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock Series at Mohawk
International Raceway on Friday night.
Ladouceur won the first event back on June 17th, and
was looking to repeat that performance in the 35 lap feature.
Halfway through the race, Ladouceur was up to third place, and
moved up to second on lap 23 after several hard fought laps. With no cautions during the entire 35 lap feature, Ladouceur
was unable to gain any ground on the race leader, and settled for second
place. At Cornwall on Sunday,
the Pro Stocks started the night with their 20 lap feature held over
from last week after rain washed out the remainder of the program. Ladouceur started from the 14th position, and
quickly worked his magic, getting up to tenth by lap two. The first caution of the race came on lap ten, just as the
field was given the halfway indication.
Ladouceur was now up to seventh place, and moved to sixth on the
restart before the yellow came right back out again on lap 11.
The following restart, Joey made a great move to take fourth
place, and continued to battle his way to the front.
The caution was out again with four laps to go, and he had
another great start moving to second.
He then chased down the lead and made the winning pass on lap 17. “The car was really
good here in this first feature. Hopefully
we can get it dialed in again in the next one later on.
The track will be a lot different by then”, says Ladouceur.
“I really have to thank Josée and the crew for all their
support, as well as our sponsors and fans”. Qualifying heats were
up next and Ladouceur struggled with the changing track conditions.
He started at the back of the pack, and finished third.
Ladouceur and the team made many changes to the car before the
second feature of the night, and again he started at the rear of the
field. Ladouceur was in the
top five by lap 13, but dropped back in the closing laps to finish
seventh. This coming weekend
Joey we will be at Cornwall Speedway on Sunday night.
The next race in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock tour is August 26th
at Autodrome Granby, while the next in the Mohawk Racing Parts series is
Friday, August 5th at Mohawk International Raceway.
The final race of the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock series will

Mohawk Raceway was
up first last week for Ladouceur as they had a rare Thursday night show,
accommodating the traveling All Star Sprint Car Series that highlighted
the program. In his
qualifying heat, Ladouceur started from seventh place and advanced to
third at the checkered flag. In
the 20-lap Pro Stock main event, Ladouceur battled to the front of the
pack and was in a great race for most of the second half of the event
battling for position within the top five.
As the dust settled at the end of the night, he was in the fourth
position. Cornwall Speedway
was up next for Ladouceur, and with four wins at the track already this
season he was well on top of the point standings.
The night began with qualifying heats and Ladouceur started from
the seventh position. He
advanced to fourth at the checkered flag, and returned to the pits for
some adjustments to his 2011 Stinger X chassis before the main event.
Ladouceur started all the way back in 13th for the Pro
Stock feature. Ladouceur
struggled to gain any ground early in the race, staying in 13th
as the completed the first three laps.
The yellow came out on lap three, and with Ladouceur unable to
gain any ground at all, it looked like a feature win on this night
wasn’t going to happen. He
had a great restart though, and blasted from 13th to ninth as
they completed lap five, and continued to move forward getting into the
top five on lap eight. The caution came out on lap 11, and now Ladouceur was up to
third place and moved to second on the ensuing restart. With five laps remaining Ladouceur moved to the top spot,
picking up his fifth win of the year at Cornwall and sixth overall on
the 2011 season. “I really
didn’t think we had a chance there during the first few laps, we were
kind of stuck back in the pack and we were unable to move forward”,
explains Ladouceur. “Once
we got some room to race we were fast.
The car has been working great all season long.
I have to thank my wife Josée, the crew and all the sponsors and
fans for their support”. In comparison to
last year, Ladouceur has one more win then he did after ten events last
year, but in 2011 he has yet to finish outside of the top five, having a
season low result of fourth place.
Last season during the first ten events he had three races with
finishes outside the top five. He
is currently on top of the Cornwall Speedway Pro Stock point standings
by 76 points. This coming weekend
Joey we will be at Cornwall Speedway on Sunday night.
The next race in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock tour is August 26th
at Autodrome Granby, while the next in the Mohawk Racing Parts series is

At Cornwall on
Sunday, Ladouceur began the night by turning the fastest lap in the pre
race warm up session. In
his qualifying heat race, Ladouceur started the event from the sixth
position and by lap three he was up to third.
He maintained that spot and crossed the finish line in third.
In the 20 lap feature, he rolled off the starting grid from the
21st position and he stormed through the field, hitting the
top five at lap 11. In the
second half of the race he continued to move forward, and just three
laps later he was battling for the lead.
With five laps to go, he took the top spot and never looked back,
capturing his fourth win of the season at Cornwall in just seven starts,
and fifth win of the season overall. “We are having a
great season so far. Hopefully
we can continue to win some races and battle for the championship on the
DIRTcar Series and the Mohawk Racing Parts Series.
I have to thank my wife Josée and the crew for all of their
support”, says Ladouceur. This coming weekend
Joey we will be at Mohawk International Raceway on Thursday night and
then back to Cornwall Speedway on Sunday night.

With rain starting
earlier in the week and lasting through Friday, Autodrome Granby race
officials reluctantly postponed the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event.
The new date for this race will now be Friday night, August 26th.
With the remaining scheduled event not until the local tracks
finish their points after Labor Day Weekend, the race at Granby is still
the next race on the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series schedule. The forecast for
Sunday at Cornwall was much improved, despite some early morning showers
that remained in the area. Racing
went on at Cornwall Motor Speedway, and to begin the night, Ladouceur
went out for practice and posted one of the top speeds on the
scoreboard. Qualifying heats were up next and Ladouceur had to start from
the rear of the field. He
worked his way to the front, and captured the checkered flag.
Before the features, Cornwall Speedway hosted their annual photo
and autograph night at the track, a very popular event amongst young
race fans, who may not get a change to see the cars and drivers up
close. Ladouceur signed
some autographs for the fans before returning to the pit area to prepare
for their 20-lap feature. Ladouceur
rolled off the starting grid from 15th place, and worked his
way through the field. By
lap 10 he was up to eighth, and continued to move forward.
On lap 13, the racing continued to caution free, and Ladouceur
was now in a battle to get into the top five.
This first and only caution of the race fell on the final lap as
the race leader lost a motor, and filling the track with heavy smoke.
On the restart Ladouceur lined up in fourth position, and moved
up one more spot to third on the final lap. “We had a good
car again tonight. I would
have liked to have seen an earlier yellow to get the field bunched back
up, but it didn’t happen”, says Ladouceur after the race.
“I have to thank my wife Josée, our sponsors and the team for
all of their support. I
also want to thank the fans for coming out and supporting the track and
the photo and autograph night. It
is always fun interacting with the fans, and this is a great opportunity
for them to come down on the track and meet all the drivers and see the
cars up close. As I driver,
we look forward to visiting with the race fans as well”. This coming
weekend, Ladouceur will return to Cornwall Motor Speedway looking to
build on his 54 point lead in the battle for the Pro Stock championship
at Cornwall. As mentioned
earlier, the next Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock race is at Autodrome Granby on
August 26th. The
next Mohawk Race Parts Series race is at Mohawk International Raceway on
Friday, August 5th. Joey Ladouceur

When Ladouceur last
visited Mohawk Raceway at the start of the year, rain cut the program
short, and was unable to run the feature.
This weekend, Ladouceur returned to the track on Friday night,
for the first round of the Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock Series.
Ladouceur started the 35 lap race from just outside of the top
five, and by lap five, he was up to fourth place.
On lap 23, the leader had slowed up considerably, and with
Ladouceur now in second, he had now had the leader in sight.
With five laps to go, the leader of the race broke, giving
Ladouceur the lead. He was
unchallenged for the remaining laps and picked up the victory. On Sunday at
Cornwall, Ladouceur was hoping to get his second win of the weekend.
The night started off well, as Ladouceur was fastest amongst the
Pro Stock competitors in practice.
He was fast again in his qualifying heat, starting from fifth and
moving to second on lap one. Ladouceur remained in second for the rest of the event.
In the 20 lap Pro Stock feature, he lined up 11th, and
moved forward at the drop of the green.
By lap five, he was up to sixth place, and continued to move
forward. Two laps later he
was now into fourth, and a timely caution bunched the field back up,
playing right into Ladouceur’s hands.
On the restart, he took over third place, and another quick
caution bunched the field again. On
the lap 12 restart, Ladouceur went to the lead, and never looked back,
posting his third win of the year at Cornwall Speedway and fourth
overall. “We had a great
car again tonight”, says Joey. “I
really have to thanks my crew and my wife Josée for all of their
support. We have had a
great season so far with this new car, and hopefully we can continue
that through the rest of the season”. This coming week,
Ladouceur will be at Autodrome Granby for the next round of the Mr.
DIRTcar Pro Stock tour. On
Sunday he will be back at Cornwall hoping to extend his growing points
lead that has now reached 44 points.

With hot laps and
heat races in the books, it was race time for Ladouceur and his fellow
Pro Stock competitors. Joey
lined up from the 14th position and had a long way to go to
get the front, but optimism was high in the Ladouceur pit area, as he
has rose to the occasion on may nights at Cornwall.
Not long after the green flag, light rain began to fall at the
track, making things difficult for the competitors as the racing surface
was already ultra slick. Racing
continued though, despite the light rain, and Ladouceur worked his way
toward the front. With the race being 20 laps long, Ladouceur knew that getting
to the front by lap 10 was very important with the rain falling.
If the race was at least half over, and it began to rain harder,
the race would be considered complete.
A caution on lap one reset the field, and he was up to 12th.
By lap five he was running in position number seven as the rain
began to intensify. After
three more laps of green flag racing, the caution came out again, and
now Ladouceur was in sixth place. Now,
with 10 laps in, the race resumed once again as the rain continued to
fall. As the green flag
came out, the wet track conditions caused the leaders to slide of the
track in turn one, and Ladouceur emerged from the pack with the race
lead. However, the race did
not resume and they went back to the last completed lap, and Ladouceur
was credited with a fourth place run. “I really thought
we had the win after everyone slid off the track in turn one”, says
Ladouceur. I respect their
decision, and we will move on. I
would have been happy if they called it before lap 10 so we could finish
it next week under better circumstances, but it is what it is, and we
will take the fourth place finish and hope for a better night next
week”. This coming week,
Ladouceur will make a stop at the Mohawk International Raceway in
Hogansburg, New York on Friday night for the first of three races in the
Bailey Motor Company Pro Stock Series.
On Sunday, Ladouceur will be back at Cornwall hoping to extend
his point lead that currently sits at 32 points. Joey Ladouceur

When the Cornwall
Speedway season opener got postponed back on May 15th, the
Mohawk Racing Parts 50 lap feature was merged with the already scheduled
50-lap feature for the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stocks this past weekend.
Ladouceur started the main event from the 9th position
and meticulously worked his way forward.
With nine laps in Ladouceur cracked the top five, and by lap 12
he was up to fourth and challenging the lead pack.
With a restart on lap 12, Ladouceur then vaulted into third place
and took second on lap 20. Just
two laps later, Ladouceur took the lead, and led the remaining 28 laps
for the victory. “We had a great
race here tonight. This Pro
Stock field is really tough, and we have a lot of great cars here,
especially for these series races.
I have to thank all of our sponsors, my wife Josée as well as
the rest of our family, my team and all of the fans for their
support”, says Ladouceur in victory lane. Ladouceur will be
back at Cornwall Motor Speedway again this weekend looking for yet
another victory to increase his points lead at the track.
The defending champion is looking to repeat from last year.
The next race in the Mr. DIRTcar Pro Stock tour is June 24th
at Autodrome Granby, and the next Mohawk Racing Parts Series event will
be August 5th at Mohawk Raceway. Joey Ladouceur

At Cornwall on
Sunday, the night began with the feature held over from last Sunday
before getting into the scheduled events for the night.
Ladouceur started to the 20-lap feature race from the eighth
position. It didn’t take
long for him to drive his 2011 Stinger X chassis through the field, as
he worked his way into the top five before lap one was completed. By the end of lap 2, Ladouceur had found his way to second
and began to chase down the race leader.
A caution on lap three bunched the field back up, and Ladouceur
briefly dropped to third before taking over the runner up spot on lap
six. Just two laps later he
made the pass for the lead, and went on to take the win. When the dust
settled, it was time to start all over again, with heats and features
scheduled for the regular program at Cornwall.
After a second place finish in his qualifying heat, Ladouceur
lined up for his second feature of the evening in the 14th
position, and once again began working his way towards the front.
With three laps in, he had raced his way into the top ten, and by
halfway he had climbed to seventh.
Just two laps later, as lap 12 was showing on the scoreboard, he
had made his way into the top five, and in the final eight circuits
around the fast Cornwall quarter mile, he had maneuvered his way up to
third, running out of laps for an opportunity to sweep the evening. “We had a great
car tonight. They guys have
worked hard all winter on this new chassis, and we just got it put
together just a couple weeks ago”, says Ladouceur.
“We had it on the track last week at Mohawk for a few laps, and
we were able to get some of the bugs worked out of it, and it seemed
really good tonight. I also
have to thank my wife Josée for all her support through the long hours
at the shop”. Joey Ladouceur

On Friday night,
after the qualifying heats had been completed, the skies opened up,
forcing track officials at MIR to postpone the remaining features for
the night, including the opening night Pro Stock main event.
“It is tough when
we drive all this way and don’t get to race”, says Ladouceur. “I am happy that we got some laps in on this new car, as it
gave us a chance to get some bugs out of it before we begin at Cornwall
on Sunday night. The track
conditions were pretty rough with all this rain we have been getting, so
hopefully it will be nice this coming week and help them dry the place
out”. On Sunday, the rain
held off throughout the day, and Ladouceur and the team were hoping to
get the season underway at the home track.
After the qualifying heats, rain once again halted the program. Earlier this week,
Joey Ladouceur had his car on display at sponsor Au Vieux Duluth’s
Brookdale Avenue location in Cornwall for a Racing Against Drugs
promotion. Ladouceur and
other racers had their cars on display at the event in hopes of getting
young kids excited about racing. This weekend,
Ladouceur will return to both Mohawk Raceway and Cornwall Speedway with
double features at both tracks.
Hopefully the weather will co-operate and they will be able to
complete the features from the previous week, as well as their full
scheduled racing program. For more

It was a big night
for the Ladouceur family, as not only was Joey there to accept his award
for track champion and the Mohawk Race Parts championship, but Joey’s
father Laurent Ladouceur also claimed the top honors for the 358
Modified division, a rare achievement in racing to have father and son
as champions in the same year, in separate divisions. “It was really
cool to be able to win the championship the same year as my dad”, says
Joey. It really is a big
moment for our family, and I hope that we can do it again in 2011”. The upcoming season
will be a little different for Ladouceur, as they have sold their car
that they have won several races and championships, and are in the
process of building a brand new Stinger X Chassis.
The old car was sold to Pro Stock racer Ryan Stabler, who will be
entering his sophomore season in the Pro Stock Class. “Ryan has some
big shoes to fill”, jokes Ladouceur, referring to the amount of wins
and championships that have been won driving that car.
“We have had a lot of fun with that car, and won a lot, but we
feel that its time to move on to something newer.
The crew and I have been hard at work in the shop getting it
ready”. Ladouceur will race
weekly at Cornwall again in 2011, as well as run for the Mr. DIRTcar Pro
Stock championship, and the Mohawk Race Parts Pro Stock title.
The Ladouceur team will also run additional races that will be
announced at a later date. For more
